Sustainability broadly includes environmental responsibility, community economic development, food production and other essential life systems, and social justice -- among other community-level concerns, diciplines and pursuits. This section of the CSP web site is an evolving collection of carefully selected sustainability resources; some are local to the greater Goshen, Indiana area, others are not geographically bound.

Goshen, Indiana Area Resources:

Maple City Market -- offers a wide variety of products that are organic and/or locally produced. While shopping at the market, you will find four main sections: a fresh produce section, a large grocery section, a deli section and a health and beauty section. Operating hours are Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. More  . . .

Maple Green Listserve -- Join a virtual community that offers "an opportunity to discuss environmental issues around the northern Indiana region and brainstorm ways to address the situation to bring forth better quality of life for all involved." Join Maple Green . . .

Elkhart County Transportation Task Force -- The Interurban Trolley is an under-utilized resource that makes real economic sense for Elkhart County residents -- especially with today's high fuel prices. Do you know the Trolley routes? Would you like to see Trolley routes expanded, with service to even more neighborhoods? Visit ridethetrolley.org to help make this great resource even more useful.
